SFCAPN--notification of BOD changes

To all members:

Marlene (Pinky) Chance, a founding member of our council who has served in a board position since it's inception, has announced her resignation as Secretary from the SFCAPN Board effective December 2022. She has decided to retire from practice, sold her home in Davie, and will be moving to northern Florida. Pinky will be placed in the Honorary member status and will still be joining us virtually for events. She has been and will remain a dear colleague and friend to many of us, and has put her heart and soul into the organization and has been a large part of its growth and success over the years. We wish her well as she retires and she will definitely be missed at our in-person meetings.

With this change occurring there will be some changes to the Board of Directors. Dr. Sally Weiss has agree to step in as Secretary effective January 2023.

In addition, the nominations committee sent out a call for nominations in November but we did not receive any nominations other than for the current board members in their current seats. We would love to see other members become involved in the organization so please consider a position for the next time as other board members are right around the corner for retirement also.

Due to Covid our Community Outreach committee has struggled for the past two years to get any events booked. The board has decided to merge the Community Outreach Committee with the Education committee so they can work together on our conference, and virtual and in-person meetings. This joint committee will have the following members:
