Important message regarding APRN's signing death certificates--must read!!

APRNs are NOT authorized to sign death certificates until such time they are Registered for Autonomous APRN practice. If you are signing death certificates at this point you are not within your scope of practice and it could be a problem. Do not place yourself in a situation where you could be in violation. Forward this to all of your APRN colleagues.
