Marsh offering malpractice $100,000/300,000

I have been in contact with Marsh regarding malpractice insurance and they have informed me they do have a policy with limits of $100,000/300,000 at a price of $1257.00 for Family NP's.  The other specialties may be different.  They will also offer a 10% discount if you are a member of AANP.  This brings your policy to $1131.00 for the year.

I have been informed that you should go online and PRINT OUT THE APPLICATION AND WRITE ON IT THAT YOU ONLY WANT COVERAGE FOR $100,000/300,000.  DO NOT REGISTER AND PAY ON LINE. You will need to call Marsh directly and ask for those limits and pay them once the price is set for you.

If you already have a policy with Marsh call them and ask for a change in limits and they will do a refund for you.

PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO YOUR COLLEAGuES AS THERE IS NO OTHER COMPANY WITH THESE LIMITS.   IT IS NECESSARY TO SPECIFICALLY ASK FOR THE 100/300,000 LIMITS.   YOU DON'T WANT TO BE INSURED FOR MORE THAN YOU ARE REQUIRED BY LAW TO BE.  IT SETS YOU UP FOR BEING THE "DEEP POCKET".
