Have you ever been to a conference and wondered how someone gets accepted to present a poster, to do a 60-minute lecture or a 20-minute speed lecture? Are you in a graduate program that requires you to do a poster at an intensive or present at a conference? Does the university you work for require you to be presenting as part of your contract or to get tenure? Have you picked up a textbook and wondered how the authors were chosen to do these chapters and what it takes to do them? If so, then this seminar would be for you.
