Have you ever been to a conference and wondered how someone gets accepted to present a poster, to do a 60-minute lecture or a 20-minute speed lecture? Are you in a graduate program that requires you to do a poster at an intensive or present at a conference? Does the university you work for require you to be presenting as part of your contract or to get tenure? Have you picked up a textbook and wondered how the authors were chosen to do these chapters and what it takes to do them? If so, then this seminar would be for you. Experienced faculty will be showing you how you can achieve your goal of scholarly writing and presenting.
